The Crown Inn on Bromley Common prior to c1866 when it was demolished and rebuilt on the opposite side of the road (where it is today). The name of W. Baxter probably refers to William Baxter III (a noted Bromley historian) but, since he would have been only 5 or less at the time, he was clearly not the photograher, just the publisher.

Bosses at Toby Carvery have apologised after a waitress shouted at a TV glamour model telling her "A least I don't get my t**s out on TV".

Rachel Hobbs, who goes under the name Lacey Lorenzo for "adult work", was out celebrating her 21st birthday with family and friends at the The Crown Toby Carvery in Bromley last month.

But when Miss Hobbs, of Bromley, south London, complained to a waitress that the paper plates used to hand out her birthday cake looked "dirty" she was met with a mouthful of abuse.
