The Stone House

Stone House Visit - Tuesday 3rd July 2012

Whether by train, car, bus or cycle (only one person!), we all managed to find our way to this unusual house almost lost in the multitude of buildings and the traffic on the busy Lewisham Way. The original six acres of ground in a no-mans land between New Cross, Brockley and Lewisham (with a Deptford post code), now reduced to one acre, still provides a calm oasis for the discerning historian.
