Shoreham Visit - Friday 10th May 2013
On a brightish and breezy day, over 20 members of BBLHS assembled outside the Shoreham aircraft museum. After an interesting tour of the many war relics, mostly recovered from the area around Shoreham after World War II, we enjoyed some warming refreshments courtesy of the museum curator Geoff Nutkins who opened specially for us.
Then, after lunch in one of the local hostelries, we divided into two groups to tour the village under the expert guidance of Sheila Wilson and Joy Saynorn to whom our sincere thanks for a fascinating tour of this still largely unspoiled village.
